When it comes to your physical health, there are many ways to improve it. There are many different exercises out there that focus on one specific part of your body. Such as if you wanted to work on toning your core, you would focus on doing cardio exercises such as a plank.
Not a lot of people know this but there are exercises you can do to help your mind, also known as your mental health. When it comes to “exercise, I don't only mean hitting the gym and pumping iron. When the term exercise is used people often think of hard activities such as doing a deep leg workout. Yes, that can help your physical well-being, but there are other exercises out there that are much simpler and can help you a lot more mentally.
Some of the exercises include walking, running, strength training, yoga, and dancing. Overall “exercise is an excellent tool to manage the everyday symptoms of mental health conditions” (CNET). By doing at least one of these exercises a day, your mental as well as your physical health will improve.
